The easiest way to verify your site with Google Search Console if you have your website added to Google Analytics. To do that just open Google Search Console and in URL prefix field add your website name using this format: https://yourdomainname.com and press Continue.Adding Your Domain

In this window choose Google Analytics tab and press verify. That’s it your website is verified on Google Search Console.

First of all, you have to install Insert Headers and Footers Plugin. To do that go to your WordPress Dashboard and press on Plugins and Add New.

In the search box type in Insert Headers and Footers Press Install and once the installation is finished press Activate to make plugin active.

Then open Google Search Console and in URL prefix field add your website name using this format: https://yourdomainname.com and press Continue.

In this window choose HTML tag tab and copy the HTML code. Leave Google Search Console window open, because you’ll have to return to verify your website.

If you have All in One SEO plugin installed to your WordPress website you can verify Google Search Console by going to Google Search Console. In URL prefix field add your website name using this format: https://yourdomainname.com and press Continue.

In this window choose HTML tag tab and copy part of HTML code as shown in the picture below. Leave Google Search Console window open, because you’ll have to return to verify your website.

Adding Your Sitemap with Google Search Console

Once you verified your site with Google Search Console you have to add your sitemap into Search Console so you can get all the data about your website.

To find out your sitemap in your browser type your domain name and add /sitemap.xml

It should look something like that yourdomainname.com/sitemap.xml

Press enter and window with your sitemap should load. Copy your sitemap link.
